! I mean, I know football players are supposed to be tough and all that, but come on, it's not like Davante Adams was even trying to make a play for a first down! That hit from Nick Scott could've easily been broken up or thrown off... but noooo, the dude just got slammed into the turf

i'm glad adams is okay though... at least he didn't get knocked out or anything. but seriously, that hit was brutal. i don't think scott meant to do it, but still, his helmet made contact with adams' chin and it's just not safe. the nfl needs to take a closer look at these types of hits and make sure players are protected. it's one thing to play hard, but that didn't seem like a clean hit... 
think about how bad it could've been for Davante... helmet-to-face is never a good combo 
he was just trying to make a play and get hit by that helmet is crazy like what if he had gotten knocked out or something?! 
. As a parent, it's terrifying to think about our kids getting hurt like that on the field or on the playground. The fact that he was able to get up and continue playing (albeit with blood on his tongue) shows how tough he is, but I'm still worried about him

this is getting weird. first of all, what's up with that safety getting flagged for a personal foul? was it just a coincidence that he hit Adams right on the chin? 
and then Adams just gets back up like nothing happened... sounds fishy to me. I mean, even if it was just a fluke, shouldn't they be checking him out more thoroughly? what's really going on here? 
... but at the same time, that hit was pretty intense! Like, his tongue is bleeding out there... whoa

. The NFL needs to make sure they're taking care of their players, especially during games when they're already in high-intensity situations. Fingers crossed Davante is back on the field soon
