Ugh, like what a miracle that there's even salmon left in the River Laxey . I mean, seriously, who's surprised that pollution and habitat destruction are killing off these iconic fish? It's not like anyone actually cares about the environment or anything . And don't even get me started on the whole "conservation efforts" thing... it sounds like a total PR stunt to me . I mean, what's the real motive behind all this? Is it just another way for the government to say they're doing something while actually doing nothing? . And boulder weirs are literally just a fancy way of saying "we gave up on trying to fix the problem"... salmon slalom, right .
This is like such cool thing! I was reading about the River Laxey on Isle of Man and found out that wild Atlantic salmon just showed up there The river's got this super old name from Norse, which makes sense since it used to have a ton of salmon before humans messed with it But seriously, conservation efforts are making a huge difference - they're fixing the waterwheel, creating barriers for salmon to swim around and even having a breeding program to boost numbers It's so inspiring to see people working together to protect our oceans and wildlife
omg can you believe how amazing that waterwheel thingy is i mean its like literally 171 yrs old lol what a cool piece of history its still functional tho its so inspiring to hear about conservation efforts in manx rivers i wish we had more of those in other places too btw have u tried any good restaurants in london lately im thinking of trying this new spot near covent garden
