ugh, christmas shopping is already gonna be a disaster ... just think about all those people stuck in crowded stores, fighting over toys for the kids meanwhile, AI gift givers are still struggling to come up with decent suggestions, and even then, they prioritize big online retailers over smaller, niche shops it's like, what's the point of having a machine help you if it just gonna reinforce existing biases and stereotypes? and don't even get me started on the £129 camera equipment... who thought that was a good idea for a gift?

i think its gonna be a mixed bag for christmas shopping this year . on one hand, having an AI buddy can save you so much time and help you discover new stuff, but on the other hand, it might not always get what's best for the person you're buying for. i mean, who decides what's "luxurious" anyway? ‍ and yeah, those ugly tennis socks were a bit of a letdown...
