come on canada! how can a country with such great healthcare system fall so behind on vaccinating its citizens? i mean, 82% is still a pretty high number, but it's down from 90% just a few years ago... and now you're risking losing your "measles-free" status? it's not like the vaccine is hard to find or anything. what happened to all those anti-vaxxers who were saying the vaccines were bad for you? did they actually work their way into politics or something? anyway, i'm not sure what the solution is, but we need to see some serious changes in vaccination rates ASAP... 5,000 cases of measles in one year? that's just crazy!
