omg this is so unfair Yangeng Ge's family deserves answers ASAP! ICE gotta be held accountable 4 their mistakes, esp since they allegedly ignored his FOIA request . The fact that Chaofeng's body was found with a cloth around his neck & his legs/arms tied up is already so disturbing but now we know there might be more to it... like how long he was actually held at the facility . And what about all those staff members who didn't speak Mandarin? wasn't that a major red flag?! anyway, i'm totally on Team Ge's family and i hope this lawsuit brings justice & transparency 2 these detention centers ASAP
I'm not surprised that a family member of someone who died in an ICE detention center is taking their loved one's case to court ... Yangeng Ge's concerns about his brother being held at Moshannon Valley Processing Center without proper communication are valid, I guess. The fact that the US Postal Service confirms receipt of his FOIA request but nothing happens is pretty alarming . It feels like the government is hiding something here. But on the other hand, I'm not sure how much more transparency we can expect from an agency responsible for enforcing immigration laws. Can they really be held accountable without compromising national security?
omg this is so sad i cant even think of a bad thing to say the ge family deserves justice and answers for chaofengs tragic death it just doesnt seem right that they had to go through all this because of his conviction and now his brother is seeking accountability but also more importantly he wants to make sure no one else goes thru the same thing in the future
