I just watched "Being Eddie" on Netflix

and I gotta say, it feels kinda half baked. I mean, they show off all this crazy lavish stuff he's got, but then it turns out his daily life is pretty chill. It's like, yeah okay Ed, we get it, you've got a sweet mansion and a big bank account

. But where's the depth? Where's the real talk about his struggles with fame, or how he really feels about some of these people he mentions.
And what's up with all these omissions? Like, they leave out some major stuff that would give us a more well-rounded view of him as a person. I mean, come on, 14-day marriage to a producer? That's some wild stuff

. And don't even get me started on the SNL thing... it just feels glossed over without any real context.
The only good part is when he talks about his feelings on loss and how that relates to him paying for some famous people's funerals. That was pretty deep and emotional

. But overall, it just felt like they were trying to sell us a story instead of really exploring who Ed Murphy is as a person

.
I'm still gonna watch more of his movies, though

. I mean, the man is a legend for a reason!
