Apple TV is getting MLS games at no extra cost

Apple TV will stream all Major League Soccer (MLS) games at no additional cost starting with the 2026 season, according to Apple and MLS. For the next two years, fans who have signed up for the service can watch regular-season matches, Leagues Cup tournaments, the MLS All-Star Game, the Campeones Cup, the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, and more without paying extra.

Since the 2023 season, watching streaming MLS games required an MLS Season Pass subscription. However, starting next year, these matches will be included in the Apple TV package instead of being sold separately for a lower price. The standalone MLS Season Pass subscription on the Apple TV app is set to conclude at the end of this year.

Apple has announced that all MLS matches will start streaming right into the Apple TV service from the 2026 season, eliminating the need to purchase an additional pass.

this is huge for soccer fans! i was getting tired of paying extra for mls games on apple tv, so it's a relief that they're making them part of the main package 🀩 i love how apple is stepping up its game (pun intended) and making it easier for us to watch our favorite teams play. no more surprise extra costs or needing to subscribe to another pass. can't wait for 2026 and all the matches to be included! πŸ’ͺ

I'm stoked about this new deal with Apple TV and MLS! Who doesn't love soccer? 🏟️ It's awesome that fans won't have to shell out extra cash for streaming games anymore. I mean, it's already a bit pricey with the Season Pass, so having these matches included in the main package is a total game-changer (no pun intended!).

I'm also loving the fact that Apple is investing in this new deal. It shows they're all about giving fans what they want and making the viewing experience even more enjoyable. I've been saying it for years, but it's always great to see the little guys like MLS getting some major love from big players like Apple.

One thing that's got me thinking, though... is this a sign of bigger things to come? Will we start seeing other sports and leagues included in the Apple TV package too? Only time will tell!

πŸ”₯ Oh man, this is huge! I'm so stoked that Apple is taking over the streaming rights for MLS games πŸŽ‰. It's gonna make it way easier for us fans to catch all the action without breaking the bank πŸ’Έ. I mean, think about it, we're already paying a pretty penny for the service, and now they're throwing in all these matches for free? That's just genius! πŸ˜‚ I'm also super hyped that we won't need to buy a separate pass anymore πŸ“ˆ. It's gonna be so convenient! Just one more thing, can you imagine watching an entire season of MLS games without missing a single match? That's the dream, man! πŸ’–

πŸš¨πŸ’” just think about it, you'll be paying even more for the Apple TV package next year and they're gonna make you pay full price for all those MLS games... like, what's wrong with just including it in the first place? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ anyway, i guess some ppl might see it as a good thing since there won't be separate costs anymore, but still, it feels like apple is trying to nickel and dime us more πŸ˜’

I'm loving this move by Apple! 🀩 It's gonna be so easy for my kids and me to catch their favorite soccer games without having to stress about extra subscriptions. I was getting frustrated with the separate pass last season, it felt like they were trying to nickel and dime us. But now, being able to watch all MLS matches included in our Apple TV package is a total game changer! πŸ“Ί The fact that they're doing this starting from next year's season means we'll get to enjoy the games even more without having to shell out extra cash. Win-win for me and my kiddos! πŸ‘

I'm telling you, it's not just about giving fans a better deal πŸ€”... I think there's more to this than meets the eye πŸ’‘. I mean, what's the real motive behind Apple offering these MLS games for free? Are they just trying to boost their service or something? πŸ€‘ And why is this happening now, when it seems like Apple was already getting all that data from the Season Pass subscriptions... hmm, gotta wonder if there's some sort of info-sharing deal going on 🀝. Not saying I'm paranoid or anything πŸ˜’, but you can't rule out the possibility that there's more to this than just "free" sports streaming πŸ“Ί!

I'm so hyped about this news 🀩! It's amazing how technology is changing the way we consume sports. I remember when my friends and I would always have to debate over who gets to watch the games - some had subscriptions while others didn't. Now, it's going to be so easy for everyone to catch their favorite team's matches without breaking the bank πŸ’Έ. I'm also loving that Apple is making this change, it just shows how they're listening to their customers and trying to make things more convenient for us πŸ“Ί. And let's be real, who doesn't love soccer? It's going to be so much fun watching all the games with my friends without having to worry about which app to download or stream from 🀝. This is a win-win situation all around!

OMG u guys! 🀩 I'm literally so hyped about this news!!! πŸ˜† So, they're gonna make all the MLS games available on Apple TV without us having to pay extra? πŸ’Έ That's like, the best thing that could've happened to soccer fans like me! πŸ€ We can finally watch our fave teams play without breaking the bank, yay! πŸ’– I mean, who needs an additional pass when we already have Apple TV? πŸ˜‚ It's all about convenience and making life easier for us fans, right? 😊 Can't wait for the 2026 season to roll around and get my fix of soccer on Apple TV! πŸ“Ί

I'm so stoked about this news! I mean, who doesn't love soccer, right? 🀩 It's amazing how Apple is stepping up their game and bringing more sports content to their platform. No extra cost for me, yay! 😊 I've been trying to catch some MLS games with friends, but it was always a hassle to sign up for that separate pass or stream them on other services. Now, everything's gonna be in one place - Apple TV! That sounds like such a convenience. Can't wait to watch all the matches without breaking the bank πŸ€‘

I'm not convinced about this one πŸ€”... how did Apple manage to get the deal without anyone questioning it? I mean, is this just another example of tech giants taking over sports broadcasting? The fact that they're making all MLS games available at no extra cost sounds too good to be true. What's in it for them? Are they getting a cut from ticket sales or sponsorships instead?

I've been using Apple TV for a while now, and I like the service... but this feels like they're trying to lock us in with exclusive content πŸ€‘. I'm not sure if I want to pay more just because all my favorite sports are being funneled through one platform. Can anyone provide some info on how this deal went down? Where's the source on this? πŸ“Š

πŸ“Ί I'm low-key hyped about this one! No more shelling out extra cash for MLS games on Apple TV, yay! πŸŽ‰ It's a win-win for fans and the service. I've been using the MLS Season Pass, but honestly, it wasn't worth the hassle of buying an additional subscription just to watch one or two games at a time. Now, I can just tune in whenever I want without any extra fees. And let's be real, it's going to make it way more convenient for new fans to jump on the MLS bandwagon too! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘
