Just heard about these new spots comin' to metro Detroit in '26. Honestly can't wait to try Gardenside Brewing and Supino Pizzeria πŸΊπŸ•. I'm all about supportin' local businesses, but it's also a shame that none of them are poppin' up in neighborhoods like Corktown or Highland Park where the community really needs some love. Meanwhile, Ann Arbor gets a new Bev's Bagels location? That's just not right πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. Sunda New Asian is cool and all, but don't they have spots already in Chicago? And what's with all these new spots in the suburbs? Can't we get more development in our own city instead of spreadin' it out everywhere?

I'm super hyped about Gardenside Brewing opening up! I mean, who doesn't love a good brewery and farm-to-table food combo? It's gonna be so cool to check out their space, especially with that lush landscape... reminds me of all the pics from Ann Arbor's Huron River. Do you think it'll have any outdoor seating or maybe even a small garden? 🌳🍺

omg i'm so stoked for these new additions to detroit's dining scene 🀩🍴 first off gardenside brewing is gonna bring some serious vibes with that farm-to-table food and craft beer - can't wait to check it out! but i'm also low-key excited about medusa cucina siciliana, who doesn't love pasta and seafood? 🍝🌊 and sunda new asian sounds like a great addition to our motor city dining scene, especially since they're already well-known from chicago - fingers crossed it'll be worth the trip!

just saw that medusa cucina siciliana is opening soon πŸπŸ‘€ i've been to italian places before and pasta always hits the spot but they gotta make sure it's authentic or it'll be just another generic italian place πŸ€”

just had a thought... so many new spots opening up in metro detroit 🀩, i'm super stoked to try out gardenside brewing with all that craft beer & farm-to-table food 🍺πŸ₯— and have you guys tried joe louis southern kitchen yet? need to get on that brunch game strong πŸ’ͺ

just saw that Sunda New Asian is coming to detroit 🀩 can't wait to try their new asian fusion dishes! got any idea when they're opening tho? πŸ•°οΈ also heard that Supino Pizzeria is expanding to the suburbs, hope it's a good sign for more food options out there πŸ‘

I don’t usually comment but I think it’s great that metro Detroit is getting some new restaurants and bars to try out πŸ΄πŸ‘Œ. Gardenside Brewing sounds like a really cool spot, all that craft beer and farm-to-table food should be pretty tasty 🀀. And I love that Joe Louis Southern Kitchen is expanding, they have such good brunch spots already, can’t wait for the new location πŸ˜‹.

I’m also curious about Medusa Cucina Siciliana, I love trying new cuisines, especially from Italy and the Mediterranean 🍝🌊. Bev's Bagels in Ann Arbor sounds like a great addition too, I need to get back there more often πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ.

It’s always exciting when chain restaurants come to town but Waka by Baobab Fare is actually one of those local spots that I’ve been wanting to try out for ages πŸ‘Œ. And Supino Pizzeria expanding into the suburbs is cool, love their pizza even if I am a bit too lazy to venture out πŸ˜‚.

Overall, it seems like 2026 is going to be a great year for foodies in metro Detroit πŸŽ‰

πŸ€” So there's gonna be another brewery poppin' up in Core City... Gardenside Brewing, that's the one with the farm-to-table menu? 🍴 I'm not sure about this, how do they plan on sourcing their ingredients and what's to stop them from just getting food from a supermarket like everyone else? And what makes Detroit's Core City neighborhood need another brewery, can't we just support the ones already here?

Also, Joe Louis Southern Kitchen is expanding? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ How big are these new locations gonna be compared to their current spots and will they even offer anything different? They're already a local brunch chain, so it feels like they're just branching out.

And I'm curious about Medusa Cucina Siciliana... has anyone seen this place before? Is it really from Italy or is that just a marketing gimmick? And what's with the seafood menu? Are they gonna be sourcing all their seafood locally or relying on imports?

I'm not hating on the new spots or anything, but I need some more info about these places before I get too excited! 😊

just saw that they're opening up waka by baobab fare in eastern market! been hearing so much about baobab fare and can't wait to try their east african food 🀀 i love that they're bringing some new flavors to the area, and it's awesome they're taking over the old russell street deli spot. hope it doesn't get lost in all the other restaurants popping up in the area

Ugh, all this new stuff is comin' outta nowhere! First thing I remember doin' with my buddies was headin' to the old Loui's Backyard on Woodward for a plate of nachos and a cold one. Now they're gonna be downtown? Gardenside Brewing, yeah I've heard of 'em, but I don't know if I wanna deal with all that fancy-schmancy food. And what's up with Sunda New Asian comin' in from Chicago? Can't we keep our own stuff?! But hey, at least Supino Pizzeria is stickin' to the basics... 31201 Southfield Rd though, that's a ways outta Beverly Hills

I'm so stoked to hear about all these new restaurants and bars popping up in metro Detroit! I mean, who doesn't love a good craft beer or some delicious Sicilian food? 🍺🍝 Gardenside Brewing sounds like an awesome addition to the Core City neighborhood - can't wait to try their farm-to-table menu. And yay for Joe Louis Southern Kitchen expanding downtown, another great spot for brunch! πŸ₯ž I'm also curious about Sunda New Asian, been hearing good things about this chain and it's always cool to see a new Asian restaurant open up in the city. Also, Supino Pizzeria is like, my favorite pizzeria in Detroit already, so I'm hyped they're opening up more locations! πŸ• And Waka by Baobab Fare is a great addition to Eastern Market, East African food has been lacking in this area for a while now. Bring on 2026 and all the new eats! πŸ˜‹

Just saw this list and I'm kinda hyped for Gardenside Brewing 🍺🌿. Farm-to-table food and craft beer sounds like a sick combo to me. Medusa Cucina Siciliana's menu looks interesting, but I hope they don't skimp on the authenticity. Been waiting for some new spots in Core City, this is gonna be lit πŸ”₯. Sunda New Asian seems like it'll bring some variety to the dining scene, not sure how their Chicago roots will translate here tho πŸ€”

I'm so stoked to see all these new spots popping up in Detroit! I mean, Gardenside Brewing is gonna be amazing with that farm-to-table menu and lush landscape 🌱🍺. And can't wait for Joe Louis Southern Kitchen to bring some delicious brunch vibes to downtown πŸ˜‹. I've been hearing great things about Medusa Cucina Siciliana's pasta dishes, too - gotta try it out when it opens! πŸ’― Bev's Bagels expanding to Ann Arbor is a big deal for our Ypsi crew πŸ™Œ. And Sunda New Asian is always a good choice - their noodle bowls are on point 🍜. On the other hand, I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants (sorry, Sunda!), but hey, it's nice to see new options in the city πŸ‘. Anyways, Supino Pizzeria expanding to Beverly Hills? That's wild! Guess we'll just have to get our fix at the Ann Arbor spot πŸ€ͺ.
