Several restaurants and bars are expected to open in metro Detroit by 2026. The opening date for the brewery has not been confirmed yet.

Joe Louis Southern Kitchen is set to open its third location downtown in the spring, targeting April as the opening month. This comes after the brunch chain first launched in the New Center area in 2021 and recently opened a Southfield location.

Medusa Cucina Siciliana will focus on cuisine of Sicily and the Mediterranean region at the former Epiphany space in Detroit's Midtown. The exact opening date has not been announced, but it is expected to happen early in 2026.

Sunda New Asian will open its Motor City location at 33 W. Columbia St., near Little Caesars Arena, bringing the popular chain to Detroit from Chicago. The food chain was founded by Filipino American chef Billy Dec in 2009 and focuses on dishes from China, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

Supino Pizzeria plans to expand to the suburbs with its third location at 31201 Southfield Rd. in Beverly Hills sometime in early 2026. Founded by Dave Mancini in Eastern Market in 2008, Supino's expanded to the New Center area in 2021.
