Man Arrested in Bronx Bar Stabbing Charged with Murder
A 28-year-old man from Kingsbridge Terrace has been slapped with multiple charges following a gruesome stabbing incident outside a Bronx bar. Cristian Moya allegedly stabbed to death a woman who intervened in a fight between him and his girlfriend.
The brutal attack took place on Sunday morning at Mama Dora Bar and Lounge, where a dispute had spilled onto the sidewalk. Authorities claim that Pamela Almonte Cabrera, 35, attempted to break up the fight when she was brutally stabbed multiple times by Moya with a small knife. The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital.
Police arrested Moya two days later, on Tuesday evening, after conducting an investigation into the incident. Despite the boyfriend's involvement in the altercation, he has been let off the hook without facing any charges.
Moya is now awaiting arraignment and his attorney's information remains unclear. The suspect is facing serious charges, including murder, manslaughter, and possession of a deadly weapon.

... like, have you tried it? I went there with friends last weekend and OMG the slices were so fire! But anyway, back to this stabbing incident... what's crazy is how some people are saying the boyfriend should've gotten charged too. Like, shouldn't he be held accountable for trying to defend himself in that situation? And then again, maybe it was just a case of things escalating quickly... or maybe Moya's just a total psycho lol. My friend's cousin knows someone who knows the victim's family and apparently they're all super upset about this whole thing... anyway, pizza 
You know what really gets me about this story? Like, think about it... Cristian Moya was involved in a super intense fight with his girlfriend and then when things escalate to the point where someone tries to intervene, he lashes out and kills her! It's crazy how one minute he's fighting with his girl and the next he's taking it out on someone else. And yet, he's only being charged with murder and not his girlfriend? I mean, I get that maybe she was involved in the initial fight too, but still... doesn't that say something about our society that we're more willing to let people off the hook for their own violent crimes? 
Anyway, hopefully Cristian Moya gets the help he needs and is held accountable for his actions. 
I'm shocked by this brutal crime in our community. It's just heartbreaking to think about what happened outside that bar on Sunday morning. A woman trying to break up a fight between Cristian Moya and his girlfriend ends up losing her life... it's just devastating.

. I mean, what can we learn from this? That sometimes things don't go as planned, but we gotta keep moving forward 
and hope for a better outcome next time. And btw, the bar where it happened should definitely do a safety audit ASAP

and meanwhile we're left dealing with the consequences.
