Ex-Bravo star says Dems should cater to voters like protester who cheered Charlie Kirk’s death

Exclusive: Bravo Star Tells Dems to Stop Appeasing Extremist Voters, Risk Losing Support

Jennifer Welch, a former Bravo star and liberal podcast host, delivered a scathing warning to Democrats on her show "IHIP News." She called for the party to stop catering to extreme voters like those who celebrated the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Welch pointed out that if Democrats think their views are only shared in New York City or among activists, they're wrong. The backlash against Kirk's ideology is widespread and won't be confined to specific regions.

The former Bravo star played a clip from an anti-Kirk protest where one woman said she was glad he died due to his "horrible" behavior on college campuses. Welch poked fun at the moment, but her message was clear: Democrats need to adapt their approach or risk losing support.

Welch targeted Democratic leadership, urging them to end donations from pro-Israel group AIPAC and attend progressive rallies. She praised anti-establishment figures like Senator Bernie Sanders, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and New York City mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani for taking a stand against extremist ideologies.

The former Bravo star also defended the woman who cheered Kirk's death, saying she was right to label him "horrible" due to his racist views. Welch argued that Democrats are outnumbered by voters like her, but they're losing support because of their reluctance to challenge corporate and lobbyist interests.

Mamdani's rise as a Democratic nominee has been a turning point for the party, with some seeing it as a sign of change, while others view him as an outcast.

OMG u guys 2day i'm like literally so done w/ politicians bein all PC & tryna pander 2 extreme voters 🙄 they need 2 wake up n realise that just bcos u got a few die hards dont mean u can just ignore the rest of america!!! 💁‍♀️ jennifer welch is lowkey my hero rn she's not afraid 2 speak her mind & call out all the bs. i think its time 4 dems 2 stop appeasin these extremist voters & start takin on corporate interests n lobbyist $$$ 🤑

Ugh, can't believe the Democrats are still getting lectured by someone who used to be on Bravo 🤦‍♀️📺. Like, what exactly is Jennifer Welch's qualifications to tell them how to run a party? And who does she think she is, policing their donations and telling them to attend rallies? Give me a break 😂. It's just another example of an out-of-touch celeb trying to be a "thought leader". Newsflash, Jen: if you want to talk about extremism, at least have the decency to acknowledge your own privilege and biases 🙄. And what's up with her defending that woman who cheered for Charlie Kirk's death? Like, no, you can't just label someone as "horrible" and expect it to be seen as a badge of honor 💁‍♀️. The party needs real change-makers, not just reality TV personalities trying to cling to the spotlight 📺💔

I'm getting so tired of politicians only catering to extreme voters 🤯👎. Like, I get it, you gotta appeal to everyone, but come on! You can't just make a bunch of empty promises and expect people to actually show up at the polls. Jennifer Welch is right, Dems need to stop pretending like they're the only ones who care about progressive values 🌈💖. We're not all just NYC or activist types, we're out here in flyover country too, and we're tired of being ignored.

And can we please talk about how crazy it is that some people are literally glad when someone dies because of their views? Like, what even is that? It's not like it's going to solve anything! 🤷‍♀️ We need more people like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who aren't afraid to take a stand against racism and corporate interests 💪🏽. And btw, Zohran Mamdani for mayor is the real deal - we need more leaders like him who are actually fighting for change 🌟.

idk why dems keep appeasing those extremist voters lol they need to wake up! Jennifer Welch is lowkey a genius btw she's right, if u think ur views r only popular in NYC or activist circles then u r wrong its all over the place rn like that woman who was hyped about Charlie Kirk dying wasnt even from NYC lol thats widespread hatred fam. Dems gotta change their approach or risk losin support big time, and btw dont even get me started on AIPAC like who needs that kinda $$$ anyway. Zohran Mamdani is the real MVP tho he's takin a stand and ppl r listening 🤔👏

I'm so done with Democrats trying to pander to extreme voters like those who are still salty about Charlie Kirk's death 🤯💔 They think they're gonna win over more people by being all PC and compromising on their values? Newsflash: that just won't fly, fam! 🚫 Jennifer Welch is right, we need to stand up for our principles even if it means losing some votes. I mean, who wants to vote for a party that's constantly trying to appease the far left or the far right? Not me, that's for sure 😒

And can we talk about how AIPAC donations are still getting funded by Democrats?! Like, what's up with that? 🤑 We need more people like Zohran Mamdani who are willing to take on the establishment and challenge those corporate interests. The more progress we make towards real change, the more we'll gain support from people like us 👊💪

🤔 Party politics getting pretty intense 🌪️. Think Democrats should be all about people over party, you know? 👥 Not just catering to radical left or right wing folks, but actually listening to moderate voters too 😊. It's like, if they can't find common ground, how are they gonna win elections anyway? 🤷‍♂️ And what's with AIPAC donations? Isn't that, like, a thing of the past? 💸 Anyway, love that Zohran Mamdani is shaking things up 👊. More of him please! 😁

Ugh I'm getting so frustrated with these politicians 🤯! They're supposed to be representing our voices but instead they're just appeasing the extremist crowd like that woman who wanted Charlie Kirk's head on a platter 💀. It's not about being moderate, it's about standing up for what's right and fighting against hate groups. And don't even get me started on AIPAC donations... can't they see how much influence these lobby groups have over our politicians? 🤑 It's like they're more concerned with keeping their donors happy than actually making a difference in the lives of regular people. We need leaders who are willing to take a stand and challenge the status quo, not just those who want to fit in with the establishment 🙄.

I'm actually kinda concerned about this trend in politics 🤔. Like, I get that Democrats need to stay relevant and all, but do they really think appeasing extreme voters is gonna make 'em more popular? Newsflash: it's not about fitting in with the loudest minority, it's about finding common ground with the majority 👥.

I mean, come on, if you're trying to win over people who are genuinely angry and scared, don't they deserve some nuance and empathy? 🤷‍♀️ It's like, let's not forget that there are a lot of people out there who just want to be heard, but aren't gonna be swayed by the most extreme views. By trying to pander to them, you risk alienating the rest of the electorate 👎.

And what about all those good-hearted Democrats who just wanna make progress on issues like climate change and social justice? Don't they deserve a seat at the table too? 🤝 It's time for some real leadership, not just trying to stay woke in the moment 💡.

omg u guys this is so crazy!! 👀💖 Jennifer Welch is like totally speaking truth to power here! As someone who's all about spreading love and positivity online 💕 I think she makes a super valid point that Democrats need to stop playing nice with the extremes and start standing up for what's right 🙌

I mean, let's be real, those people who are celebrating Charlie Kirk's death are not just some radical outliers, they're also part of a larger movement that's growing in influence 🚨 And if Democrats don't adapt their approach, they'll lose support from people like me, and millions others who care about justice and equality 💪

I love how Welch is calling out the pro-Israel group AIPAC for donating to the party - it's time for them to stop getting a free pass 🤔 And she's right, Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are total heroes for speaking truth to power 💫

Mamdani's rise as a Democratic nominee is like, super exciting! I'm all about seeing more diverse voices in leadership positions 💖 Can't wait to see what the future holds 🤞

I'm not sure about this one 🤔. I mean, think about it... a former Bravo star telling Dems to stop appeasing extremist voters? It sounds like a pretty polarizing message to me 😳. And what's with the clip from that anti-Kirk protest? Using that as an example? That just feels kinda manipulative to me 🙅‍♀️.

I don't think it's about adapting their approach or risking losing support... it's more like they're trying to stir up drama and get some attention 💁‍♀️. And what's with the criticism of AIPAC donations? That's not exactly a new issue, and I'm not sure how that relates to... well, everything else 🤷‍♀️.

I'm all for progressive rallies and anti-establishment figures like Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez 💪, but this whole thing just feels too calculated for me 😒. And what about the woman who cheered Kirk's death? Wasn't that just a stupid comment? Does Welch think we're gonna start condoning that kind of hate speech now? 🤯 No thanks 👎

I'm not sure about this one... 🤔 As someone who's lived through a lot of social and political changes, I think what Welch is saying makes sense. We've got to acknowledge that there are people out there who hold some pretty extreme views, and we can't just ignore them. It's easy for the party leadership to get caught up in trying to appease everyone, but at the end of the day, they're losing support because they're not being true to themselves.

I'm a bit worried that if Democrats keep catering too much to the extremes, they'll lose touch with the people who really matter - like me and my neighbors. We just want good jobs, affordable healthcare, and a chance to make our voices heard. If they start to sound more like us, I think that's when we'll see real change happen.

I also love what Mamdani is bringing to the table - he's got spunk! 🤑

omg I remember when politics were way more chill 🤪... people used to actually listen to each other and try to find common ground 😊... now it feels like everyone's just trying to appease the extremes and lose the rest of the voters 🙅‍♂️... I mean, come on, if you're gonna win an election, don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe in and take a few risks 💥... Jennifer Welch is totally right, Dems need to stop coddling their base and start listening to the people who are getting restless 🗣️... it's all about finding that sweet spot between progress and pragmatism 🔄... and can we talk about how refreshing it is to see someone like Zohran Mamdani breaking through the noise? 💫

Democrat need listen to people like Zohran Mamdani 🤝 they got right idea 🙌 about challange extremism 💪 and corporate interests 🤑 not good for country 🇺🇸 Welch say Democrats need adapt 🔄 or risk lose support 🚫 like Kirk's ideology 👎 is not just in NYC 🗽️ but everywhere 🌎

I gotta say 🤔, this is kinda crazy! So like, Jennifer Welch is basically telling Democrats to stop being all soft and conciliatory with people who are super extreme on the other side. And she's not afraid to call them out for it 💁‍♀️. I mean, I get where she's coming from - if you're trying to appeal to everyone, but really only have a few people on board, then what's the point? 🤷‍♀️

But at the same time, can we say that this isn't already happening? Like, isn't it true that some Democrats are pretty afraid of alienating certain voters because they're worried about losing seats or getting attacked on social media? 🚫 It feels like a bit of both, you know? The party needs to take a stand and stop playing nice with people who are basically trying to push their own ideology down everyone else's throat. 💪
